May 2017

I cannot believe its December and I haven’t updated this diary bloggy thingy since early May….

So, nutshell….

May 2017.

Mum recovering and perky but obviously quite frail. She had her 86th birthday this month.

The garden is in its most vibrant verdant month.

In late May we had a wonderful stay with our dear friends Helene and Martin at their new home on Cornwall. It was a really special week. On the way down we had short visit to Taunton where a friend from the village recently moved. Lovely to see him.

Hector and I visited places in Devon on the way down that have ancestor connections for my Fathers side of the family. Very interesting.

Helene was a superb guide to the area where they live and we enjoyed every minute. Boat trips out to an island, meals and beaches, great company, plenty of fizz and Rosie was a very happy soul getting lots of cuddles. The weather was really good too.
