More medical matters…

3 days after getting home from Norfolk I had the Carpal Tunnel Release surgery. I had numb fingers and hand and pain for a long time so it needed doing.

We were only out of the house one and a half hours. It was a small NHS unit on the outskirts of Carlisle. Very quick. I was a bit of a wuss – flinching when I didn’t need to. Its all done by local anaesthetic.

Two weeks after surgery if is almost healed but still rather sore so use of my hand is a bit restricted but the symptoms have gone and the numbness and tingling healed.

Hector was so helpful and did all the things I couldn’t do. Could not have managed without him.
