It has been good to be back at work. We have a new full time colleague which has been exciting.
I have been making garden plans and getting lots done ready for what WILL be a long lovely spring and summer.
An old friend, Adam, spent a day here and lifted the little lawn, put down membrane and then gravel – the same as we put into the yard (Sitootery) two years ago. We are pleased with the result. It is a bit of a blank canvas while I plan pots and plants. I have ordered seeds for cosmos and sweetness and will probably add in hosts (they should be protected from slugs and snails in pots on gravel). This year I am thinking of opening the garden with the Village Open Garden Day in the summer so the pressure is on.
