5 a day – moves to improve
We’re about to set up a fortnightly delivery of organic fruit/veg/salad. Some will be new to us, so it might be quite exciting. Its all to make some healthy changes in our diet. The supplier will be Eva’s Organics.

Eddie says
What a relief… Eddie doing politic-ing! One of the cleverest men I can think of making obvious connections about how he sees the politics of Great Britain. Listen up folks…….
Don’t forget that Eddie is a genius who can have us doubled up laughing with humour that is ultra ultra clever and doesn’t offend anyone. Listen up – here is an honest man making some honest points with values and integrity.

First open tulip of the spring

First open tulip 3 – my favourite of the 4, originally uploaded by Fi – re-couperating well (sleepycat-gallery.com).
Today is my last day off after having a holiday and then pleurisy. I went out into the little yard and on the table in a pot was the first flowering open petals of a lovely pale pale yellow tulip. Its lovely.
The last few days have seen glorious weather – clear blue skies and a couple of days warm enough to be outside snoozing on the hammock all day long. Poor Hector has been stuck indoors working while I have pottered around the garden and done a few small tasks ready for summer.
I’ll be glad to get back to work though – bizarre as that might seem.

splashy splashy

*** splashy splashy (a quote from Eddie Izzard as it happens), originally uploaded by Fi – confined to quarters (sleepycat-gallery.com).
I have had a week on holiday from work over EAster, but the bad chest I had had for a few weeks just got worse and I spent all of it with a fever and in bed. The Doc says its been pleurisy. So, time off work is extended and I will probably not get back until mid week this week.
Hector has been lovely and has taken good care of me – driving a few miles just to get me the only thing I craved – fruit pastilles. He was able to enjoy himself though this weekend as he had a day/evening out with his friends in Sheffield.
For company I have had faithful Frank cat and the birds in the garden as they get busy for spring. This blackbird is a regular visitor.
